The Faculty of Education - Alexandria University prepares distinguished cadres of pre-university education teachers who are aware of their mission, capable of creativity and competition in light of the economy of supply and demand, and their professional development during service, and preparing educational researchers who are able to develop knowledge and employ it in solving educational problems and upgrading Continuing the educational field, developing education and its policies at all levels, and providing specialized technical services and consultations through units of a special nature in the college in order to contribute to achieving sustainable development of society

It gives me great pleasure to send you my sincere greetings from a distinguished institution such as the Faculty of Education, Alexandria University, which has always had an impact on the Egyptian and Arab character for nearly sixty years; through its distinguished graduates who were able to have a presence in the Arab educational and cultural scene. The Faculty of Education has shouldered - since the first day of its establishment - the responsibility of preparing a teacher with competitive specifications, who has succeeded through several generations in presenting his message in full throughout Egypt and the Arab world, and preparing the youth for challenges that increase with the development of the era and the diversity of its technologies; This is evident in the growth and diversity of the programs offered by the faculty: between general and basic education teachers in all specializations, and childhood teachers, in addition to special programs that offer some specializations in the English language, such as: mathematics, chemistry and physics. The faculty also provides educational and specialized postgraduate programs, and various courses offered by the Educational Services Center to serve teachers. The continuous development of the faculty is consistent with its vision that works to promote knowledge and its applications to serve society. It also harmonizes with its mission to build perceptions and take measures to form educational cadres and develop education at all levels. In this regard, the college has worked to strengthen cooperation with the Ministry of Education and its administration; to link the teacher to the labor market and achieve quality output of the educational process. Throughout its history, the College of Education has not lacked a distinguished teaching staff, which has formed a research force for the college in the latest international university rankings, which was also reflected in the cognitive level of the college graduate compared to other colleges. In conclusion, I say: Working in the field of preparing future teachers is a trust, and we ask God Almighty to grant us success in performing it; in the service of our beloved country, Egypt.
